Children can wait up to two years or longer before they are matched with a mentor. Your donations help create matches and support group mentoring programs like SOAR, allowing them to enjoy social, educational, and recreational activities while on our waitlist. To make a General Donation to support our programs and services, please complete the form below – you may also request the funds support a specific program (i.e. SOAR, PRISM, Go Girls, Game On, All Play, etc.) in the notes of the donation page. Monthly donations can also be set up through this form.
Your contributions create opportunities that shape brighter futures for young people in our community. Thank you for believing in the power of mentorship and being a part of something truly transformative.

Established in 2006, the Ryan Landon Memorial Fund honours the life and legacy of Ryan Davis Landon, a compassionate young man whose kindness, humour, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Ryan passed away tragically at the age of 22. He was the cherished son of Davis and Deb Landon and the beloved brother of Kristy and Corey. Ryan had a warm and generous heart, a deep love for family and friends, and a natural ability to make people feel welcome and valued.
Ryan grew up closely connected to Big Brothers Big Sisters through his mother, Deb Landon, who was a founding member of Big Sisters of Ingersoll in 1982 and later served for 35 years with the organization, helping guide its growth and eventual formation as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County before retiring as Executive Director in 2019.
Ryan loved sharing his passions for magic and karate, often performing at agency events for children and families. His playful spirit, determination, patience, and sense of humour made him easy to love and easy to remember. Those who knew Ryan will always recall his favourite farewell: “Have a Magical Day!”
Administered by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County in consultation with Deb and Davis Landon, the fund supports local mentoring programs and activities that help children and youth build confidence, develop positive relationships, and reach their full potential.
The Ryan Landon Memorial Fund is a lasting tribute to Ryan’s caring spirit—ensuring that his kindness, generosity, and belief in young people continue to make a difference in the lives of children in our community. ✨
